Australia’s DZ Deathrays have returned with “Shred For Summer”, available, today via Alcopop!
After taking a year off, “Shred For Summer” sees the duo return in ferocious style, crafting one of their most visceral yet catchy songs yet, a hugely exciting sign of more to come from DZ Deathrays in 2017.
Speaking about the track, guitarist/vocalist Shane Parsons said: “For a long time i’ve wanted to write a song that is just about my love of playing guitar, this is the closest thing we have made to that. We were influenced by artists such as Zeppelin, Oasis and Future of the Left. It has a few guitar clichés thrown in there for good measure and i think this will become a favourite of ours to play live.”
‘Shred For Summer’ follows the band’s recent UK tour announcement, which will see the duo hit Europe this autumn.
