On the heels of the release of TV Girl’s third EP, Lonely Women, the infectious band are proud to announce their latest video. This time the heartless romantics are releasing the cinematic montage of their latest single “She Smokes in Bed.” Additionally, you can catch the band live in New York at next week’s CMJ festival. On Lonely Women, Trung and Brad use their signature combination of dusty break beats and girl-group harmonies to present 5 thematically linked vignettes that explore the titular subject. From Mary, the girl who meets an unfortunate end in opening track “She Smokes in Bed” to the beautiful airhead in closing track “Melanie,” the women in these songs struggle against boredom, beauty, lust, and heartbreak, all set to a catchy tune.
