Unknown Mortal Orchestra Share New Video

Unknown Mortal Orchestra unveils new video for "Can't Keep Checking My Phone"

Today, Unknown Mortal Orchestra has shared the video for their single “Can’t Keep Checking My Phone” (which the band recently performed on Conan) from the album, Multi-Love. Directed by Dimitri Basil and Cooper Roussel (with art direction by Laura Gorun and Dominique Basil), the visually stunning video is replete with a series of very strange ideas and situations. Says director Dimitri Basil, “‘Can’t Keep Checking My Phone’ is so full of sounds and its lyrics are so elusive so I decided that one idea wouldn’t do the track justice. My approach was to present the multiple ideas as if they were a trading card deck. Trading cards, like Mars Attacks, have a short description accompanied by illustrations. In this case the deck is about strange occurrences, syndromes or phenomena.” The band will be announcing numerous 2016 tour dates in the very near future. Multi-Love is out now on Jagjaguwar.
