Joyful Noise Recordings has announced the release of Alternate Worlds from producer/composerSon Lux (Ryan Lott), due on vinyl on May 27, 2014. After Lorde began covering Lanterns‘ “Easy” at her shows, the two created a collaborative reworking of the track.

Beyond releasing Alternate Worlds and worldwide touring in support of Lanterns, Lott has also been hard at work with Sisyphus, his collaborative project with Sufjan Stevens and rapper Serengeti, who released their self-titled debut on March 18th via Joyful Noise / Asthmatic Kitty. Lott, equal parts producer and composer, has been delving into further collaborations as Son Lux, with more details to be unveiled in the coming months.
