on the heels of their current release Wild Nights, PINS have shared their video for “Dazed By You”. True to the Manchester band’s aesthetic, the video pairs their hazy sonic ruminations with antiquated Super 8 footage of a journey across America interjected with chalk-like drawings. In the end it’s a true testament to PINS: style, playful nostalgia and a sense of adventure.

“We made this video when we were on tour in America, driving across strange landscapes and visiting unusual places,” The band explains. “The filming was done when we drove 2,500miles, from Seattle to Michigan in a week. We stopped off at a natural hot spring on Kyoko’s birthday, detoured though the Badlands, pulled over in the middle of nowhere to check out some old abandoned cars, and found an old petrol station in Jackpot, Nevada. The video was filmed on Super8, then drawn on, scratched and burned afterwards.”

Recorded in Joshua Tree at Rancho De La Luna with Dave Catching (QOTSA, Eagles of Death Metal) and Hayden Scott, and mixed in New York with Ben Baptie at Atomic Sound NYC, PINS second album Wild Nights is out now on Bella Union.
