Melbourne, Australia band Crepes, have have shared their new single “Stages of Fear,” from their forthcoming EP. The track defintely has similarities to the warm guitar-pop of their debut offering, “Ain’t Horrible”

Vocalist, Tim Karmouche‘s vocals are quite warm as well, his guitar adopts a a more ‘surf-rock’ swagger. A synth-fuelled chorus strays off into more ethereal, Tame Impala inspired territory, whilst a cameo harmonica solo certainly makes for good measure.

Mixed and mastered by Melbourne’s own Mikey Young (Total Control, Eddy Current Suppression Ring), this latest release will feel right at home among Young’s ever-expanding legion of like-minded clientele.
