Ben Gibbard is set to release a vinyl only album covering Teenage Fanclub's 'Bandwagonesque'.

Turntable Kitchen is thrilled to announce that Ben Gibbard, the frontman for Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service, will be covering Teenage Fanclub’s seminal album ‘Bandwagonesque’ in full as part of its Sounds Delicious vinyl subscription club. The album will be a limited edition, vinyl-only release (although the vinyl will be packaged with a digital download) available exclusively through Sounds Delicious.

Gibbard says of his album choice, “Bandwagonesque is my favorite record by my favorite band of all time. It came along at a pivotal time in my musical life and I’ve loved it for over 25 years. It’s been such a blast taking these songs apart to see how they work and then putting them back together again.”

Sounds Delicious is a first-of-its-kind monthly vinyl subscription service. Sounds Delicious will offer full-length cover albums – exclusively featuring music not available anywhere else – on limited edition vinyl.

Participating artists were asked to choose any full-length album they love and re imagine it from front to back. Sounds Delicious will produce the recordings on limited edition vinyl packaged in beautifully designed jackets and exclusively release them to members of its subscription service every month.
