Lowell recently performed in Denmark with Apparatjik at the National Gallery of Art in May and at The Great Escape festival in Brighton, U.K. with fellow Canadian artists Mac DeMarco, and Diana. Lowell’s vocals and lyrics are also featured in the short video ‘The Girls of Mwedo’ produced for the Chime For Change (www.chimeforchange.org) global campaign, founded by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Frida Giannini, and Salma Hayek Pinault. ‘If You Can, Solve This Jumble’ features 7 songs and was recorded at Kensaltown Studios in London, England. The first two singles, “Shake Him Off” and “Kids” have gained British national airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and Absolute Radio. Together, Lowell & Apparatjik debuted songs from the album at Roskilde Festival 2012 in Denmark for over 60,000 people, headlining the opening night after The Cure.
