“In My Stomach” by c.o.o.p.

c.o.o.p. met While attending Fordham University in the Bronx, NY, singer/guitarist Hunter Houck and drummer Cashel Barnett came together, while performing in the orchestra pit of a particularly bloody theatrical rendition of Evil Dead the Musical. They connected over their mutual respect for beers and the drinking of said beers. Naturally, they began drinking beers together while making futile attempts at playing music.

After many a beers and making no music, Hunter graduated, and the pair didn’t speak for 3 years while Hunter moved to Los Angeles to pursue his life long dream of becoming an Uber driver and being dead broke. There he met bassist Ryan Kelly over a shared interest in paying rent. On Cashel’s arrival in LA in early 2015, while crossing the street to get a taco, he spotted Hunter, and after another night of beer drinking, scheming and pissing off Hunter and Ryan’s neighbors, the threesome decided to make loud music together. They named it c.o.o.p.
