Wet drop Dubbel Dutch remix “You’re The Best”

Wet have released Dubbel Dutch's remix of their single "You're The Best". Wet's debut album 'Don't You' will be released digitally by Columbia.

Following up on their music video for “You’re The Best”, Wet offers us a remix from Mixpak-associate Dubbel Dutch. The Brooklyn-based producer transforms the song into a tropical house track which is only fitting for the man behind Popcaan’s “Everything Nice” single. Listen to the remix below and watch director Scott Ross’ tender roller skate rink-set music video for the original “You’re The Best.”

Wet is also touring with Tobias Jesso Jr. later this month and through the end of October. See all of their tour dates here.

Wet’s new album, almost entirely self-produced, was written during a period of solitude in a rented house in Western Massachusetts last year. Wet collaborated intensely with each other on the album while honing in on their individual strengths during the process.

Wet met through mutual friends as college students in New York City in 2007. After a few years of informal dabbling, they began officially making music as Wet during the summer of 2012, an especially aimless and emotionally turbulent period. After releasing a few songs digitally they quickly began attracting attention, sometimes from unexpected places before releasing their debut EP Wet in May 2014.
