Stars Announce "Lost & Found" EP

“We’re around this fall and we would love to see you,” gushes lead singer Torquil Campbell of Stars regarding their US fall tour dates – including sets at Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom, Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg and two nights at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall – “after this, we’re going to go buy some Depanneur wine and start dreaming again, so don’t miss it and then moan.”

Like their celestial namesake, Stars only come out at night, and that includes when they record records and (of course) when they put on live performances. On September 18th they will be releasing a new three-song EP, just a few weeks before the fall tour starts.

“It’s called the Lost & Found EP and it features a couple of very sad songs by us and quite a sad song by someone else, covered by us: “Long Hot Summer” by The Style Council,” explains Campbell. “When I was 16, I listened to that song 30 times a day until I didn’t know where it ended and I began.”
