Magnetic Fields releasing 69 Love Songs

Magnetic Fields have announced the reissue of '69 Love Songs', the album will come out on collectors vinyl,

Due to overwhelming popular demand, Merge Records will reissue The Magnetic Fields’ 69 Love Songs on vinyl on November 6. The limited-edition 10-inch box set includes six records housed in a sturdy slipcase along with a full-size, 24-page color booklet featuring liner notes written by author Daniel Handler, a.k.a. Lemony Snicket.

69 Love Songs was originally released on CD in September of 1999,. The three-volume set became one of the most talked-about albums of the year and remains one of the most beloved releases in Merge’s catalog. As Spin magazine said, “Like the best cabaret, Stephin Merritt’s triple-CD monsterpiece charms on contact, and like the best indie-pop, you’ll want to unravel it endlessly.”
