“Night Time TV” by Fenech-Soler

Fenech-Soler recently premiered their new video for the song “Night Time TV”, the track is off their recently-released, EP Kaleidoscope, their first new material since 2013.

Now a duo comprising brothers Ben and Ross Duffy following the amicable departure of Andrew Lindsay and Daniel Soler, Fenech-Soler are back with a bolder and more eclectic sound. Recalling the streamlined indie-pop of The Whitest Boy Alive, lead track “Kaleidoscope” is a buoyant ode to the pure joy of love. Track 2 is the atmospheric soul shimmer of “Night Time TV” – inspired insomnia – while “On Top” is an uplifting synth banger, and the EP closes with the happy-sad swirling pop of “HaHa.” While previous releases have seen them collaborate with the likes of Galantis, Starsmith and Tim Goldsworthy, Kaleidoscope EP is confidently self-produced.

From Northamptonshire, Fenech-Soler have released two albums, their self-titled 2010 debut and the 2013 follow-up Rituals, and headlined gigs all over the world, including Shepherds Bush Empire on their last UK tour. They’ve toured with everyone from Kelis to Miike Snow to Robyn.
