Heat shares their new minimal music video for “This Life” today via Brooklyn Vegan. “For the video, we wanted the aesthetic to reflect the simplicity of the song,” explains lead singer Susil Sharma. “Jimmi Francoeur (director) and the band decided to highlight the band’s performance against an open white studio space, matching the open-ness of the song. we added in a nod to UK shoegaze band, Ride as a nod to some of the 90s brit influences.”

Following the release of their debut EP Rooms released this Spring on Kitsuné, Heat also announces a full US Tour supporting Nashville alt-rockers Bully. Catch them on the road this Fall.

The year started well with the reissue of their self-titled EP which has been renamed Rooms out now on Kitsuné. Rooms includes two exclusive tracks, “All I Wanna Do” and “This Life“ which surely describes best the band’s sound, along with the catchy “Susisfine” which is also on the label’s latest compilation “Kitsuné New Faces II” !
