SAVAK recently released their video and second single “I Wanna Exist”. The track is off their forthcoming release Cut-Ups, Out October 27th via Ernest Jenning Recording Company. The video, which features footage of the band performing the track while “amateur” musicians practice along at home.

The band — which includes members of Obits, Holy Fuck, The Cops, The Make Up and more — is also performing several dates in support of Pinback and Hot Snakes this fall. The full list of Pinback shows, which includes two-night stands in Washington, D.C., Allston, MA, and Philadelphia, PA, as well as one-offs in Hamden, CT and New York City, can be found below. SAVAK will support Hot Snakes in both New York City and Boston.

Cut-Ups was produced by the band and Geoff Sanoff (Nada Surf, Luna, Jets To Brazil) at Renegade Studios in New York City with additional recording done by the band at their Brooklyn practice space and homes. “This is an album for listeners who don’t seek authenticity, but intuitively know it when they hear it; for people who are interested in language and sound. This is not lifestyle marketing. This is not going to cover your bald spot or shrink your waistband”.
