“Erode” By TENDER

Following the release of new track “Erode”, TENDER today share the song’s official video directed by Jack A. Bowden. The enveloping video is dressed in stark and sensual monochrome and features SFX work from Smoke and Mirrors.

Of the video, director Bowden says “Paralleling the actions of intimacy, it creates violent waves at heightened moments and falls back to a calm ripple during the moments of tenderness. With each subsequent listen, the vulnerability of the lyrics became clear. This manifested itself in the aesthetic. Tender portray an eerily intimate isolation in ‘Erode’. It’s an isolation not between lovers, but between them and civilisation.”

Today’s video follows the release of three mesmeric EPs, which clocked up plays in the tens of millions. Born from exhaustion, the visuals mirrors a track which is itself a meditation on the healing and work that goes into rebuilding one’s self following an unhealthy relationship.

“Erode” is the first track to emerge from TENDER’s upcoming debut album which is due for release later in the year through Partisan Records.

To support “Erode” and further preview new music from the upcoming debut album, the band will be performing live on the following festival dates.
