“Don’t Talk About You” By Geowulf

Burgeoning pop duo Geowulf are pleased to share breezy new track “Don’t Talk About You”. Melodic and reflective, “Don’t Talk About You” expands the duo’s feather-light beach vibes into something with noticeable breadth, brilliantly evoking the likes of Fleetwood Mac in all of its addictive, lovelorn glory.

Singer Star Kendrick explains: “This song went through a geographical & creative metamorphosis over almost two years. We originally wrote it in Copenhagen, demoed it in Stockholm and then revisited it recently when Toma & I were both in London. I guess the song speaks for itself but ultimately it falls in the good ol’ “wanting-something-that-ain’t-good-for-you” vein …”. Originally from Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, Star and Toma met in their teens. Despite both her parents being musicians, Star only really began pursuing her own musical aspirations three years ago and enlisted the help of Toma to bring the early demos to life.

Emanating hazy, summery sounds reminiscent of Best Coast or Mazzy Star, “Don’t Talk About You” follows up on this summers “Saltwater” and both prove to be lush and melodic pop gems, a bright and uplifting introduction to a band that’s only just getting started. Geowulf is comprised of Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin, who are based between London, Gothenburg and Berlin.
