With the release of their new album Love Chills a month away, Chicago band YAWN has shared another cut from their forthcomingrecord. You can stream album track “Wasting, Waiting” which premiered today via Soundcloud. Love Chills comes out September 9th on Old Flame Records.

Like YAWN’s previous releases, Love Chills is simultaneously unconventional and accessible, mixing off-kilter psychedelia with infectious pop hooks. The band’s own brand of electro-infused indie pop features buzzing guitars, warbling synth, and lush soundscapes full of hazy, blissed-out melodies.

YAWN has toured recently with with Tame Impala, The Kooks, Yuck, and Mates of State, and earned them a spot on last year’s Lollapalooza bill. They’ll be touring in support of Love Chills this fall– stay tuned for live dates, coming soon.
