Following the recent release of a special edition of their  2015 album Dilate, their first release on PIAS, electronic imprint Different Recordings, Vessels have shared the video for brand new track “Are You Trending?”.

Their most forceful track to date, explosive electronic steamroller “Are You Trending?” sets their inventive sonic bar as high as its ever been. The video juxtaposes images of movement and dance-club depravity in a manner that’s brilliantly disjointed and absorbing. Director Thomas Ralph says:

“On hearing the track my intention was to make a video driven by its attention-grabbing pattern like rhythm. Visualising a parallel journey set over one night; I and the Editor Owen O’Sullivan constructed a template to only chop, change and repeat elements into a puzzle-like web that compliments the tracks ever growing intricacy. For the characters their journey became one of desperate soul-searching; that of looking for an-other’s company and that of self-release.”

The band recently released a deluxe edition of their 2015 album Dilate (8/10 Mojo, DIY, TLoBF), a record that proved to be a tipping point in the band’s trajectory from their post-rock beginnings to heavyweight contenders in the electronic scene.
