Twinsmith release “Dust” Enso Remix”

Twinsmith release "Dust" Enso Remix", the original track comes off their 2015 release Alligator Years

Twinsmith have released the Enso remix of their song “Dust” this morning. The track, which “combines tropical synths with a dreamy house background”. The original version of “Dust” can be found on the band’s recent album Alligator Years, which was released on May 4, 2015 via Saddle Creek.

Twinsmith will head out on a two-week tour of the mid- and southwest beginning this Saturday, October 24th in Wichita, KS. The dates will continue through November 5th in Kansas City, MO. Twinsmith has spent the better part of the past year on the road, both as a headliner and supporting artists including Cursive, Reptar, The Good Life, and Broncho. A current itinerary is below.

Alligator Years expands upon the surf-y haze of Twinsmith’s 2013 eponymous album and “Honestly” single, with the band pushing themselves musically while moving toward more of a poppy sound. Each track has it’s own individual voice and style, and ranges from propulsive, melodic rock to buoyantly playful pop to sing-along retro pop. There’s a youthful sense of longing and exploration that permeates the album, which reflects on the highs and lows, advantages and disadvantages, hopes and fears of 20-something life with crafty, unassuming depth. Not just any band can examine anxiety, uncertainty, and commitment through tales of homicidal girlfriends and zombie apocalypses with such charm.

Twinsmith is: Jordan Smith (vocals, guitar), Oliver Morgan (drums), Matt Regner (guitar, synths), and Bill Sharp (bass).
