Thundercat will embark on an extensive live tour through the US and Europe in 2017, kicking off with two nights at The Independent in San Francisco. It marks the first headline North American tour for the bassist / singer-songwriter since the fall of 2015, He will be joined on stage by longtime bandmates Dennis Hamm (keys) and Justin Brown (drums) for the tour.

Earlier this year, the Brainfeeder veteran won his first Grammy award for his contribution to “These Walls” from Kendrick Lamar’s opus To Pimp A Butterfly. 2016 also saw him release the single “Bus In These Streets”—a comedic ode to our dependence on technology, and perform the landmark Brainfeeder showcase at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl that included a guest appearance from soulful crooner Michael McDonald.

Thundercat will also appear this Thursday on Diggin’ In The Carts—the RBMA Radio series exploring video game music. The bassist extraordinaire and his beloved cat Tron will select and discuss some of his favorite video game soundtracks. Tune in December 8 at 7pm EST at http://win.gs/DITCS1E7.
