Thom Sonny Green has shared a third track, “Phoenix,” from his debut solo LP High Anxiety, out August 19th via Sudden Records / Canvasback. “Phoenix” is the album’s uplifting midpoint that builds listeners up to the clouds before gently setting them back down and into the second half of the LP. High Anxiety is a departure from Thom’s work as alt-J’s drummer, revealing his longstanding interest and talent in deep, cerebral electronic production. The album spans 21 diverse tracks made over the course of two years on tour with alt-J and highlights Thom’s versatility across different genres and soundscapes.
