The Menzingers share video for “Lookers”
Today the Menzingers have released the video for “Lookers,” the lead single from their upcoming fifth album After the Party due out February 3 through Epitaph Records. Directed by Sean Stout at Terroreyes.tv, the video for “Lookers” captures the Philadelphia-based punk band’s rousing live performance in a tasteful black and white.
“Lookers” finds the Menzingers paying tribute to their time spent in Asbury Park, weaving in images of smoke-filled diners and heartbreak at the hands of Jersey-girls.
“We have a very close connection with the Asbury Park scene,” says Menzingers singer/guitarist Greg Barnett. “It’s like a second home for the band, and ‘Lookers’ is a little love story about all the fond memories of the times we’ve spent there.”
Produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Balance & Composure, Pianos Become the Teeth), After the Party arrives as the follow-up to the Menzingers’ 2014 album Rented World.
In February, the Menzingers will embark on a US headline tour with Jeff Rosenstock and Rozwell Kid as support before heading to the UK and Europe in April for a headline tour with special guests The Flatliners. They’ll also be playing Groezrock Festival in Belgium.
