The Good Life premiered their new song “Are You Afraid Of Dying?” this morning. The previously unreleased track was recorded during the same sessions as their recent album Everybody’s Coming Down, which was released on August 14th, 2015 via Saddle Creek. “Are You Afraid Of Dying?” is also now available as a digital single via the Saddle Creek webstore and iTunes.

The band began recording the album in January 2015 at Omaha’s ARC studios and finished the songs in the quartet’s respective homes, which are scattered across the US: Chicago, IL (Kasher), Omaha, NE (Lewis), Los Angeles, CA (Drootin-Senseney), and Portland, OR (Fox). John Congleton (St. Vincent, Baroness, Angel Olsen, Cloud Nothings) mixed Everybody’s Coming Down at his Elmwood Recording in Dallas, TX.

The Good Life will head back out on the road early next month for a run of U.S. tour dates, beginning on November 9th at the Turf Club in Minneapolis, MN. The tour will continue through November 28th at O’Leaver’s in Omaha, NE and includes a November 17th show at The Bell House in Brooklyn, NY. Jake Bellows will support on all dates and Field Mouse will join the tour from Buffalo, NY on November 14th onward.
