Sunflower Bean just announced a massive tour with DIIV and released a 7″ vinyl via Fat Possum, and today they unveil a new music video. The video is of the vinyl’s a-side “I Hear Voices,” which weaves in and out of a sublime, bass-heavy, neo-psych rock and a percussive call-and-response between co-vocalists Nick Kivlen and Julia Cumming. Directed by Kyle Hide, the video was inspired by YouTube, today’s dependence on social media, and the ever-looming Big Brother.

Following their singular, self-released debut EP Show Me Your Seven Secrets earlier this year, Sunflower Bean have been kicking ass and taking names. They were recently dubbed one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Artists You Need To Know,” have toured throughout the U.S. and Europe, opened for the likes of Best Coast, Cherry Glazerr, Wolf Alice, etc., and won over audiences with their mind-melting live show at international festivals including UK’s Great Escape, SXSW and CMJ.
