Juno Award-nominated rapper, singer, songwriter, and visual maverick SonReal debuts the new video for his track “Soho” today. The track which was co-written by SonReal and produced by POPS, is featured on SonReal’s forthcoming The Name EP out August 12th on Capitol Records/Black Box. The video was shot by Dane Collison using a drone to capture the epic Canadian landscape which includes shots while in tour in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. SonReal is currently on a nationwide 28 date tour with labelmate Jon Bellion selling out dates across the country including LA’s Fonda Theater and Webster Hall in NYC.

In Canada, SonReal has become a hip-hop phenomenon. The lyricist and songwriter has been nominated for five JUNO awards, including two this year both for “Rap Recording of The Year” and “Video of the Year” for “For The Town” from his EP of the same name. He has garnered a total of eight Much Music Video Award nominations, five of which came in 2014 when he took home MuchFact Video of the Year for “Everywhere We Go,” (which also earned a JUNO nod for “Rap Recording of the Year”). He’s released a string of buzzworthy projects including, Good News (2012) The Closers (2013), One Long Day (2014), and 2015’s For The Town.
