Soft Metals Announce Tour, ‘Lenses’ Remix EP

Soft Metals Announce European Tour, Releasing 'Lenses' Remix EP, Now Streaming "Tell Me" (Silent Servant Edit). Soft Metals play March 25 in Mexico City.

Last summer LA duo Soft Metals released Lenses, their sophomore album a marriage of “smoky, affectless strain of kohl-eyed art-tronica…with late ’80s/early ’90s dance music”.

Following its release they toured North America extensively, most recently performing at a Red Bull Sound Select event with Machinedrum and SISU. This Spring they will take their intoxicating live show overseas, with a string of European dates beginning at the end of April, but will first play in Mexico City on March 29th. First set of dates is below, the band has announced more to come soon.

Also coming up, Soft Metals will be releasing a deluxe white and black spatter vinyl remix EP via Mecanica on March 3rd (digital February 3rd). The EP, limited to 450 copies worldwide, features remixes and edits for “Tell Me”, “No Turning Back”, “Interobserver”, “Hourglass” and “When I Look Into Your Eyes”. They’ll be sharing these mixes as streams over the next few weeks and today you can listen to Silent Servants edit of “Tell Me” – click above to listen.
