On May 21st, Hardly Art will unveil the latest album from Bay Area mainstays Shannon & the Clams. Dreams in the Rat House was born, kicking and screaming, in a cabin belonging to the part-time Punkette‘s Uncle, and “Rip Van Winkle” and features back-ups by Magic Trick‘s Noelle Cahill–is your first taste of the album in all its retro-indebted glory. Today the band also announces a summer tour with Mikal Cronin, which takes them from the West Coast through the Midwest, up into Canada, and down along the East Coast into the Southern United States.
