Following the duo’s televised performance of the song on Conan last week, Run The Jewels share an official music video for “Lie, Cheat, Steal”, the centerpiece of their album Run The Jewels 2. Directed by Ruff Mercy, the video features one of the four new pieces from the group’s Tag The Jewels worldwide art initiative. The massive buzz from the album also led Marvel editor-in-chief and hip-hop fan Axel Alonso to pay homage to the group with two RTJ-inspired covers Deadpool #45 and Howard the Duck #2. This week the group will play Madison Square Gardens at the behest of headliner Jack White, to be followed by a plethora of recently-announced festival appearances.

Additionally the MCs are the subject of a new interactive documentary on the newly launched BBC Taster platform. The documentary can be viewed on the BBC Taster site now. BBC documentary filmmakers shot the duo at their sold out show at Koko, London, at the end of 2014 and held exclusive interviews with El-P and Mike, covering subjects from the racial politics of America to their fondness for cats and the success of their Kickstarter-funded Meow The Jewels project. Run the Jewels will return to London to perform at the NME Awards at the O2 Academy Brixton on February 18.
