Until The Ribbon Breaks To Join London Grammar For North American Tour; Premieres Exclusive Re-Imagination Of London Grammar's 'Sights.' the tour starts

UK experimental collective Until The Ribbon Breaks, who create avant-R&B sound, have announced their direct support dates for London Grammar’s North American tour in November 2014.

Having just relocated to Los Angeles, the trio – comprised of Cardiff-born frontman, producer, singer, songwriter and visual artist Pete Lawrie-Winfield (lead vox, keys, percussion, brass); James Gordon (synth); and Elliot Wall (drums) – have just completed a month-long residency at LA’s Bootleg Theater.

In addition to working on their own tracks, Until The Ribbon Breaks continues to make waves among the blogosphere with their skillfully woven, innovative “re-imaginations” of original tracks, the latest a remix of London Grammar’s ‘Sights.’ The remix and accompanying video, which includes spliced selections from The Red Balloon, Forrest Gump and The Kite Runner. Other remixes including Sam Smith’s ‘Nirvana,’ Lorde’s ‘Royals,’ Phantogram’s ‘Fall in Love’ and a feature on EL-P and Killer Mike’s new album ‘Run The Jewels’.

The band’s debut EP, ‘A Taste of Silver,’ contains self-made videos for each track made up of cinematic imagery, which could sit comfortably within the poignant scenes of any Spike Lee, Tarantino or Scorsese film.
