Prism Tats, the Los Angeles-based band, recently signed to Anti, have released their compelling noir-psych video for the song “Death Or Fame.” The track, is the second taste of music from Prism Tats’ upcoming self-titled debut album, to be released on April 15 on Anti-.

Prism Tats is the creation of musician Garett van der Spek, a native of Durban, South Africa who recently relocated to Los Angeles. Using guitars, vocals and sparse electronic elements, Prism Tats pulls from various visual and musical inspirations to create waking dream sub-realities that devastate and elate.

The debut album, Prism Tats, was written and recorded in its entirety by van der Spek, featuring his own extraordinary vocals, drum machine, guitar, and bass synth. Prism Tats will play two shows in Los Angeles before heading out on tour with Nada Surf this spring. Full dates listed below with a national tour to be announced soon.
