Princess Nokia, aka Destiny Frasqueri, has released an 8 minute double-feature for two tracks from her new album 1992 Deluxe. “Bart Simpson / Green Line” was directed by Milah Libin, Destiny’s friend and frequent collaborator. The 8 minute video shows New York City through a young Destiny’s eyes–the rejection and struggles of high school, the innocent debauchery of a neighborhood party, the isolation and contemplation of solo travel on public transportation, and the depth of the friendships we forge in our youth.

Due to the devastating impact of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on Puerto Rico, Destiny started a GoFundMe to raise money for relief efforts. She talks about the horrifying situation and her motivation for starting the page in this video.
