Following last week’s announcement of a new Porcelain Raft album, dates for a full North American headlining tour were released today in support of Permanent Signal, which is out August 20th on Secretly Canadian.

Porcelain Raft, the solo project of Brooklyn-based Mauro Remiddi, has moved in a new direction musically with Permanent Signal. “Think Of The Ocean” “Remiddi has loosened his hold on pop and firmly embraces experimental possibilities that classical composition lends on his second full-length.” Filter call the track “eerily beautiful” Indeed, film plays a role in the artist’s work, as seen in the cinematic album trailer for Permanent Signal, which you can watch here.
