Plaid Share New Video And Announce Summer Tour

With the release of their latest album Reachy Prints, Plaid shared a video for the track “Wallet” and announced dates for their upcoming tour of North American during July. Reachy Prints was release on May 19th via Warp Records and the video for “Wallet,” which was directed by Sabrina Ratté can be watched here.

Plaid is a British electronic music duo formed in London by composers Andy Turner and Ed Handley. They have released numerous albums since getting together in 1991 and also have collaborated with artists like Mara Carlyle and Björk. When speaking of the new song “Wallets,” Plaid explained that it is inspired “by the items found in wallets, the money, receipts, business cards, photos etc and the symbolism of wallets as a safe place to store items we value and want to remember. Most items in a wallet have already been digitised and perhaps physical wallets/purses will become obsolete.”

Along with the release of Reachy Prints and the new single, Plaid are also set to embark on their North American tour in July. Dates for the shows can be found below.
