The Cure

Bestival Toronto has officially wrapped up it’s second year back in the city. The festival reached new heights this year as it made the move in location from Toronto Island to Woodbine Beach, making for a considerable increase in crowd size. Despite the risks that may have come with this, Bestival ran smoothly and, true to it’s motto, peacefully. Each day brought out colourful crowds of young and old alike, united by the love of music. Sunday included featured a lengthy headlining set from The Cure which was built up to from noteworthy performances by Grimes and Skylar Spence. Judging by the success of the past two years, it feels likely that Bestival Toronto will return in 2017 to be even bigger and better.
