North Coast Music Festival Announces 2015 Lineup, including Chemical Brothers, D'Angelo, Twin Shadow

Today, North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) has announce the lineup for this year’s festival, which takes place during Labor Day Weekend from Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th. Featuring three consecutive days of hip-hop, jam, indie, rock, R&B, electronic beats, and everything in between, each year North Coast transforms Chicago’s historic Union Park.

Returning headliners THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS are back this year after closing the inaugural NCMF in 2010. Additional 2015 headliners include R&B star D’ANGELO AND THE VANGUARD, who is riding high off the release of his first album in fourteen years, plus a very special SURPRISE ROCK HEADLINER that will be announced on Tuesday, May 12th.

The lineup features a wide range of artists including The Roots, Wale, Tycho, Atmosphere, Porter Robinson (Live), The Glitch Mob, Chromeo, Portugal. The Man, Booka Shade, RAC, Nahko & Medicine for the People, supergroup Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ Set), and an exciting performance from New Orleans’ premiere funk band Galactic joined by Macy Gray, plus many more.

North Coast Music Festival was originally founded in 2010 by a group of independent promoters who came together to create a festival of emerging and established artists from a diverse range of genres. Between them they produce hundreds of Chicago-based events each year, including multiple festivals in the Midwest, one off events at Chicago music venues, street festivals, and more, that attract thousands of fans and artists from all over the world.
