Today, Mothers premiered a full album stream of their debut album When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired in advance of its release on February 26th, 2016 via Grand Jury Music. The quartet – comprised of Kristine Leschper (vocals/guitar), Matthew Anderegg (drums), Drew Kirby (guitar), and Patrick Morales (bass) – are currently on a U.S. headlining tour, which will includes their SXSW debut, shows with Car Seat Headrest, All Dogs and Palm, and their first ever dates on the west coast and in the U.K. (schedule below).

When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired was Produced by Drew Vandenberg – who has worked with Of Montreal, Deerhunter and Porcelain Raft – at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia, the album features collaborations with Josh McKay of Deerhunter on vibraphone as well as McKendrick Bearden of Grand Vapids, who played bass and provided string arrangements throughout.
