METZ have expanded their North American & European fall tour to support their self-titled, full-length debut, available this October via Sub Pop. The tour begins October 6 in Ottawa, ON at Babylon and now ends on November 22 in Montreal, QC at Il Motore. This tour includes a stop at the 2012 CMJ Music Marathon on October 18 at the Knitting Factory, for a performance at Sub Pop’s Octrocktober Showcase. Preceding the tour, the band will perform September 20-21 in Montreal, QC at Pop Montreal. A full list of tour dates is below.

‘METZ ‘ will be out October 9 in North America & Europe, and October 15 in the UK, on CD, LP, and through digital providers. The album features 10 tracks including the lead single, “Headache,” along with standouts “Wet Blanket,”  “Knife in the Water” and “Get Off.” The album was produced by METZ, and recorded by Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) at Barn Window and Basketball 4 Life, and Alexandre Bonenfant at Dreamhouse Studios.
