Currently on lockdown in their new studio, recording the follow-up to their stunning debut album Portraits, Maribou State will embark on a busy European touring schedule through the summer months – a blend of live shows and their much loved DJ sessions. They are marking the announcement with a free download of a special “MS Edit” of Al Green’s ‘Simply Beautiful’ on their Soundcloud, a gem previously confined to their DJ sets. The duo have also revealed a short film documenting their musical journey so far, and in particular how they pieced together their amazing live show for the Portraits live tour (which began with an intimate gig at OSLO Hackney in February 2015 and culminated in a storming sold-out KOKO show a year later).
