Maria Minerva, “dancer synth wizard,” has announced a new EP, Bless, out April 2nd, 2013 on Los Angeles-based label, 100% Silk.

The accompanying video for “Black Magick,” directed by Alice Cohen, has a surreal, comedic bent that enhances the swirling synths with magic, collage and the occult, the “video’s occasional goofiness may be a jarring contrast against the song’s haunting simplicity, but it’s a symbiotic relationship that will get you thinking—or at the very least, smiling.”

Currently touring in Europe, Maria will also be bringing “hazy, anachronistic electro beats” stateside for dates this spring, with more to be announced, as well as a full schedule at SXSW in March.
