Lust For Youth have revealed their new single “Armida” from the upcoming album, International. The album is set for release on June 9th via Sacred Bones Records. Listen to another single off of International, “Epoetin Alfa,” above.
Originally Lust For Youth was a solo project of Swedish electronic musician Hannes Norrvide which began in 2009. Now, it consists of two more members, a longtime live collaborator Loke Rahbek and Malthe Fischer, who produces and plays guitar. With a change in lineup, the sound of the new record is being described as distinct for Lust For Youth’s earlier works. The new single “Armida” is an illustration of the new sound, which features vocals from Soho Rezanejad.
International will be available on CD and LP (white vinyl in the UK and EU only), and the LP will come with a download remix EP featuring reworks of LFY tracks by Marshstepper, Silent Servant, Total Control, Helm & Cult of Youth amongst others. Apart from the upcoming release, Lust For Youth are also scheduled to perform at a string of dates in the EU.
