LOWER DENS PREMIERE BRAINS VIDEO ANNOUNCE TOUR DATES

“Brains” is the first video from the Baltimore-based Lower Dens’ forthcoming album Nootropics.

The video directed by Tristan Patterson, recognized for his feature length directorial debut ‘Dragonslayer’ (Grand Jury Prize winner for Best Documentary at SXSW 2011) and featuring band member Jana Hunter, brings to vivid light one of the themes central to Nootropics – appreciating our modern society’s rampant technological advancements while reconciling its ability to encroach to traumatizing effect. The minimalism here is monumental, elements in the music that seem subtle at first soon reveal themselves as colossal developments.
