Lou Barlow Shares “Wave” from Upcoming LP

Lou Barlow shares second single "Wave", from his forthcoming release 'Brace The Wave',

Brace the Wave, is Lou Barlow’s first solo album in nearly six years, it will be available on September 4th via Joyful Noise Recordings. “Wave,” is now available to stream & share via Soundcloud below. The song is the second track that Lou has shared from the album, “Moving” is also available for streaming.

Brace the Wave adds to Barlow’s extensive discography, which includes releases from Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, Folk Implosion, and his first solo endeavor, Sentridoh. Recorded in under a week in Easthampton, MA with Justin Pizzoferrato (who also worked on Dinosaur Jr.’s Beyond, Farm, and I Bet on Sky), the album is a mix of tracks that employ Barlow’s early methods of tuning his ukelele down low and writing during the recording process (“Redeemed,” “Wave,” “Moving”) and traditional-style folk songs that he performed live in the studio (“Lazy” and “C&E”.)

Brace the Wave Tracklist:
1. Redeemed
