Lion Bark stream Single from ‘Pomelo’

Lion Bark stream first Single "You and Me from their forthcoming release 'Pomelo'

Lion Bark have shared the first single “You And Me” from their forthcoming release Pomelo. Lion Bark met at university in Brighton, over 3 years ago, the band seeped into the Brighton music scene playing their own brand of loose and dreamy indie. Taking a bit of time out to write and get themselves together this winter,(bass player Josh is still a postman and has a lot of commitments on weekends), they now return with a more coherent and warm brand of bedroom jams.

Recorded over Spring, Lion Bark’s Pomelo EP. Channels their daze, the band have adsorbed thematic influences from bands like Lower Dens and The War on Drugs, whilst consistently echoing the more classic yacht-rock grooves of bands like Steely Dan and Hall & Oates. Lion Bark’s plucky bass parts and intricate guitars always resonate as the core of their music, Guy Bangham’s deep vocals shifting the indie template to a more Rn’B realm.
