LE1F To Release EP On Terrible Records

LE1F To Release EP On Terrible Records/XL Recordings. Hey EP coming March 11th with full length album to follow. The first single "Boom" is now streaming.

New York City hip-hop artist Le1f has announced that he has signed with Terrible/XL Recordings. The deal comes with the announcement of his first release with the label, Hey EP out digitally March 11th and on 12″ Vinyl May 6th with an LP to follow. With an impressive amount of  mixtapes under his belt (Dark York, Fly Zone, Tree House).  Le1f and Terrible Records in their new partnership with XL Recordings have decided to make the Hey EP the literal introduction to their roster. The EP features 4 new tracks produced by the likes of Matrixxman, Harry B, Dubbel Dutch, past contributor/collaborator Boody  and  “Wut” from his career establishing mixtape Dark York, featuring the trademark choreography from the Wesleyan graduate, a theme strung though all of the rapper’s stunning and widely popular videos.

On the signing Le1f states:  “I’m really excited to be with Terrible Records. Every artist on the roster is unique and inspiring and I’m glad to be a part of that. Working with XL Recordings was my teenage dream. Ethan made that a reality. I’ve been keeping quiet about this for almost a year. I’m excited I could finally brag about it.” An equally excited Ethan Silverman of Terrible adds, “Terrible has been pursuing Le1f for over 2 years, and we are so excited to kick off this relationship after talking about it for so long.  The HEY EP is a literal greeting from Le1f, and the formal beginning of the next phase of his career, and we couldn’t be happier to be working with this special man.  To have XL’s backing means the world, and together we hope we can help Le1f realize his vision for a long time to come.”
