Ibeyi Drops New Video for "Stranger/Lover"

Since the release of their self-titled debut album in February on XL Recordings, Ibeyi have been entertaining audiences across the globe with their unique blend of modern pop, hip-hop and electronic influences with the traditional sounds of Yorùbá. Today the twins have shared a new music video for their next single “Stranger/Lover.” The video, directed by Léo Bigiaoui and Maxime Baudin, stars Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz exposed and indistinguishable as they sing the lyrics about finding your way out of hard times, while trying to salvage a love that once existed.

Ibeyi will return to North America this week to kick off their second tour of the states. The twins will start the tour in Los Angeles this Friday at the Mayan.
Ibeyi have had an exciting year and garnered the attention of critical press across the globe. After selling out their first North American tour in April, Ibeyi will return this fall for an even larger tour that includes over ten shows across North America (full list of dates below).
