Minnesota band Hippo Campus have unveiled their new video for single “Violet”, a song about rebellion and discontent with American culture and its ideals. The whimsical video blends melancholy sweetness and gentle humour to highlight the unobtainable American dream.

“Violet” also marks something of a milestone in a year that has seen Hippo Campus evolve from playing packed shows in their hometown of Minnesota to touring both sides of the pond with the likes of; Modest Mouse, Walk The Moon, Real Estate and My Morning Jacket.
