Hanni El Khatib shares “Savage Times” video

Watch the new video for "Savage Times" by Hanni El Khatib, 'Savage Times Vol. 5' EP out now via Innovative Leisure

With his latest EP Savage Times Vol. 5 out now through Innovative Leisure, Los Angeles-based artist Hanni El Khatib is sharing a new visual piece for his latest single “Savage Times.” Directed by Daniel Pappas & edited by Zachary Ernest, title-track “Savage Times” has just received some unnerving psychedelic visuals, rounding off what has been quite a year for the artist after the release of five EP’s.

El Khatib started Savage Times last December, after the Bataclan attacks forced the cancellation of a planned Paris Festival performance. With unexpected time on his hands, he scheduled open-ended studio time at Crystal Antlers frontman-turned-producer Jonny Bell’s Jazzcats studio. Each day, he’d drive the hour-long route through L.A.’s industrial corridor to Long Beach, sketching out riffs and lyrics on the way.

Savage Times Vol. 5 is aptly the fifth EP to be released by Hanni El Khatib this year and is available now via Innovative Leisure. He plays The Chapel in San Francisco, CA on February 24.

Savage Times Vol. 5 tracklist:

1. Till Your Rose Comes Home
2. Hold Me Back
3. Savage Times
