Girls Names remixed by David Holmes, EP Out

Girls Names remixed by David Holmes, The Next Life EP out now

Belfast four-piece Girls Names released their critically acclaimed second album, The New Life, in February and it marked a new direction for the band altogether. That directional shift is emphasized even further by a new EP, entitled The Next Life. Released on November 4th through Slumberland / Tough Love, it will be available in two different formats: a 3 track 12″, and as a 7 track download (October 29th).

The 12″ features a Brian Eno cover version, as above, and two remixes by David Holmes and Factory Floor, is now available to pre-order on exclusive white vinyl through the Slumberland / Tough Love store. The digital EP contains original track ‘Visions’, and three other remixes: Optimo, Mark Van Hoen, and The Soft Walls.

Today, Girls Names debuts the remix by legendary producer/composer David Holmes, who lends a somewhat European elan to the titular track, “The New Life”. Stream it now at Self-Titled.
