Gavin Turek collaborated with DJ & producer TOKiMONSTA for the 2015 EP You’re Invited, which featured seven futuristic R&B tunes from the disco-pop princess. The single “Surrender” now has five fresh new remixes from Stranger, Paperwater, Sonns, ES.P & Mike Gao.

Los Angeles’ elusive Stranger brings fresh energy to the dance floor with a delicate combination of basslines and breaks. His House Party EP featuring Waka Flocka Flame recently premiered on Night Bass.

Paperwater is comprised of longtime friends and producers Eddy Samy and Daygee Kwia. The pair create and share music that pushes the envelope and challenges people’s notions of how certain genres should or shouldn’t sound, and have released work through Dim Mak and Warner Bros. Records.

Additional remixes on the Surrender Remix EP include one from Los Angeles producer Alexandre Mouracade under his Sonns moniker, Miami producer and DJ ES.P and producer and music technologist, LA’s Mike Gao.

Mayer Hawthorne brought Gavin Turek in as a guest vocalist for his project Tuxedo. April 2015 marked the release of her first single “Frontline,” a dance heavy homage to Donna Summer.

TOKiMONSTA is known for her unique take on electronic, hip hop, and dance music. Since 2010, she’s released two full albums, and multiple EPs and vinyl-only singles through highly regarded labels including Ultra Records and Brainfeeder/Ninja Tune. Her needle-pushing music stands on its own but her work with artists including Tinashe, Schoolboy Q, Miguel and Jesse Boykins III.
